I am Fulbright-Nehru senior scholar working in the Trans-Himalaya on a dog movement ecology study. I am collecting movement data on free-ranging/feral dogs (gps collars), and using that in conjunction with camera trap data for native carnivores (snow leopards, red foxes, maybe wolves?) to examine potential disease transmission and to build a model to test different dog management actions. This is my field blog.

I will be posting regular updates over the next nine months here. I tend to write often, but process photos far less often, so multiple posts will probably come in batches. Thanks for following along!
